Remarks & Notes
Sunset Beachball. MTA Metro-North Railroad (MNCW) 208 (Beachball/40th Ann) led train 849 through the Bronx, New York at the hour of sunset on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. This was the first heritage wrap released by Metro-North, and it honors the first paint scheme that the railroad used on its locomotives. The constantly evolving skyline of Manhattan is visible in the background with the lighted sign of the MetLife building peeking through and the Empire State Building rising above the center.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
