Remarks & Notes |
While one crew scoots their EMD road slug and mother unit out of the way, the crew of Q464 gets their big GE and HLCX SD40-2 ready to go to work. CSXT 2286 was built in 1964 by EMD for the Baltimore & Ohio Railway as GP35 3552. Though various mergers, she became CSXT 4392. CSX then rebuilt her into a road slug to GP40-2 6416 and gave her a new number. Meanwhile, CSXT 7309 in the background was built in 1990 as Conrail (CR) C40-8W 6075. CSX later sold it back to GE after this shot was made. |
