| "Allegra" ABe 8/12 # 3509 of the Rhaetian Railway is pulling the regional train 4629 of the line R19 from St.Moritz to Tirano along the Lago Bianco on the Bernina pass, between Bernina Lagalb and Ospizio Bernina. The "cross scouring boards" (Kreuzkolktafeln) erected here on the right above the track prevent the formation of very thick snow cornices, as was often the case in the past. The snow and wind have created some beautiful shapes here. |
