Yonkers Curve. On the snowy morning of Tuesday, January 16, 2024, a six-car Amtrak Train 69 (Adirondack) with P32AC-DM 702 leading departs the Yonkers, New York Station during a decent snowfall. The catenary brackets to the left are part of the test track at Kawasaki's rail car facility. Although slightly obscured by the snow, looking straight on, the 1911 built New York Central Station is in front of the former Yonkers Railway Company trolley car barn, a division of the Third Avenue Railway Company. Today the station still serves MTA Metro-North Railroad and Amtrak passengers, but the car barn is home to Yonkers Brewing Co. and the Trolley Lofts.
