| "Electric Conveyor Train at West Haven"
Amtrak Siemens ACS-64 609 tows a cut of retired MFS-40 Conveyor Hopper cars east through West Haven station on Metro North Railroad's New Haven Line during the early morning hours of February 13th, 2024. The cars were bound for Cedar Hill Yard in New Haven, Connecticut for disposal.
Work trains that require travel between Hudson Yard and New Haven are usually towed with electric locomotives to comply with the "strict" restrictions within of Penn Station.
