| At 7.09 in the morning, the first northbound train 4624 from Poschiavo to St. Moritz arrives at Alp Grüm. The "Allegra" ABe 8/12 # 3512 pushes the track plow Xk # 9143 in front of it. It can eject snow and ice between the two rails up to a maximum of approx. 5 cm below the top of the rail. On track 2 is the snow clearing composition from Pontresina with diesel locomotive Gmf 234 # 03 and snow blower Xrot mt # 95404, which started before 5 o'clock in the morning and has just arrived in Alp Grüm to clear the track over the Bernina Pass for the first train of the day.
