Remarks & Notes
Tow Job. MTA Metro-North Railroad GP35r 102 (ex-CR 2271, exx-PC 2271, nee-PRR 2271) was towing MNCW 224 (P32AC-DM) with a “maxi-bomb” (7 Bombardier coaches) thorough the High Bridge section of the Bronx, New York. This is standard practice for when there is a mechanical issue to return a train to the Croton Harmon Yard. Starting with the left is the current NYPD Strategic Response Group 2 (formerly the 44th Precinct), the former Stadium Family Center with its baseball logo, and on the extreme right is the Metro-North High Bridge Yard.
