The Caboose In Railroad Square. Next to the restored 1877 former West Shore Railroad (later New York Central Railroad) passenger station on today's CSX River Sub in Haverstraw, New York, sits former New York, Susquehanna, and Western Railway NE-6 caboose 0116. Built in 1948 by International Car Company, it came to the the area to be the Haverstraw Caboose and operates as a tourist information center, as seen on May 25, 2020. Other survivors from this order to present day include 0111 at the NYSW Pompton Lakes, New Jersey Station, 0112 at the Whippany Railway Museum, and 0119 at the Warwick, New York Station.
