San Diego Meetup. A snapshot of a meet of contemporary transit options is captured just south of West Broadway in San Diego, California on March 29, 2012 as Metropolitan Transit System 1005 (U2, Siemens-Duewag, 1981) and North County Transit District (NCTD) SDNX 2104 (F40PHM-2C, Morrison-Knudsen) pass during the afternoon rush hour. Both transit systems are notable for reintroducing long lost commuter options in the area in recent decades. While all of the power in this scene has since been retired, one could recreate this scene in a manner of speaking as MTS U2 cars 1003 and 1008 and SDNX 2105 are now property of the Southern California Railway Museum.
