USSC Sugar Road Job 2 returning to Clewiston with 63 cane loads from loadouts around the Bryant area. Trailing DIT is USSC 407, which was picked up from Bryant Yard and swapped with other power. Of interest is USSC 410, US Sugar’s newest 4-axle unit, which is originally a Southern GP50. The unit still retains its the majority of its original frame, including the SOU walkway lights on the long hood. This unit was rebuilt to “GP38-3” specs by NS at their Juniata Shops in April of 2007, later being sold to EACX in 2020, and eventually being acquired by US Sugar that same year.
