Alcos After Midnight | Arkansas & Missouri Railroad Alco T-6 number 16 idles through the night in Rogers, AR very early in the morning on a cool Thursday, April 11, 2024. As the power for the Rogers local, this and C420 number 42 have been tied down for the night and will resume their duties in a few hours, once the sun has come up. One of only a dozen or so still in existence, this particular T-6 was originally delivered to the Norfolk & Western Railway in 1959.
A recent spike in a personal interest of the skill and work it takes to create and ultimately nail a shot in the dark using flash technology, leads to this album.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
