| Re 4/4 # 170 and # 192 (Re 425 # 170 and # 192) of BLS Cargo in Brig. Unfortunately, the locomotives of this series are usually quite dirty and dusty, as they are mainly used in the car transport trains through the Lötschberg summit tunnel between Kandersteg and Goppenstein and vice versa and are never actually washed. # 170 was built in 1970 and # 192 in 1982. The # 170 came with the passenger extra organized by ZRT Bahnreisen for the association Pacific 01 202 from Lyss via Bern-Belp-Thun-Kandersteg to Brig and is going around her train. The journey with 3 SUISSE TRAIN BLEU cars, the "Schüzengarten" bar car and the luxourios PRESTIGE CONTINENTAL EXPRESS dining cars "Le Salon Bleu" and "Le Rubis Noir" went then via Sion-St-Maurice to Bouveret (visit of the Swiss Vaperur Parc) and in the evening back via St-Maurice-Vevey-Puidoux-Chexbres-Fribourg-Bern to Lyss. |
