On a cloudy December 26th, 2023 morning, Metro-North Railroad Train 1518 treks east past the remains of the abandoned Stratford Team Track in the town of Stratford, Connecticut on the New Haven Line. The Stratford Team Track is distinctive as it was built with a curve around the southern pier of the Barnum Avenue Cutoff overpass. Unfortunately, a few months after this photo was taken, the noteworthy curve was removed to make way for the abutment of the replacement overpass.
