Remarks & Notes
The UP's Cane Creek branch is an amazing piece of engineering, carved out amongst the deep red rocks of southern Utah. A nice surprise on my first time shooting the branch was a former Western Pacific GP40-2 leading the return trip. With 32 loads on the drawbar, the Potash Local grinds up the hill as they approach Bootleggers Canyon.
