| The "Tw III" railcar ABe 4/4 # 54 of the Rhaetian Railway is ready in Alp Grüm with service train 9635 to Poschiavo. The trip is used to instruct an infrastructure locomotive driver, as this department will be using the sister vehicle ABe 4/4 # 56 in the future. The ABe 4/4 # 54 "Hakone" railcar was built in 1990 by Schindler Waggon Pratteln (SWP) and BBC for the Bernina line and is to be preserved as a historic vehicle. In the background the track goes through the avalanche protection gallery towards Ospizio Bernina in a grade of 7.0 %. |
