Remarks & Notes |
In the year 2014 the Sequatchie Valley Railroad was still living up the reputation of the shortline that you never know what might be on the roster. A fine example of that is this hidden gem in plain sight. Ex: Progress Rail N0 3011 which is still wearing it's last owners scheme is sitting quietly at Bridgport, AL. 3011 started is career on the Western Pacific Railroad 1971 wound up on the Chicago Missouri & Western eventually ended up on the Wisconsin Central. How it Mysteriously appeared in Northeast Alabama for a short time was amazing at the time. At some point years later the Ex: WC Geep would get sold one more time to Patriot Rail Co and was sent to south Georgia. It was a very interesting time in the world of railfanning in 2014. |
