Remarks & Notes
Into The Earth | The pair of Alco C420s leading the southbound Arkanas & Missouri passenger train cruise into the tunnel in Winslow, AR on the cloudy afternoon of Saturday, April 27, 2024. This bore through the Boston Mountains dates back to 1882 when the St. Louis-San Franciso Railroad made its way through the area. Fittingly, the handbrake and railings in the foreground are that of a recently-restored Frisco caboose which is making its inaugural run on the AM passenger train.

Pace and pan shots of trains from on the ground or in the air. If you're not in the locomotive cab or on-board the train, it's the next best thing to being there.
