This Indiana Southern coal train is about to finish loading a coal at the Bear Run Mine. This mine is located outside of Dugger on the INRD. According to the web, the mine produced 6.7 million tons in 2022, with 136 million tons of proven and probable reserves. The mine employees 500 people and is served by the Indiana Railroad Company, which built a 5.6 mile line to the mine in 2010. The INRD delivers coal to the Indiana Southern, Norfolk Southern, and CSX.
