In 2012, the Zurich steam group launched the project to bring the 2-6-2 T steam locomotive Eb 3/5 # 5811 "Habersack" back into service. The main aim is to show younger volunteers the work involved, to instruct them and thus maintain the know-how. Some progress can be seen every year, and more or less all the parts are now ready for assembly. Here is the frame with driver's cab and side water boxes. The locomotive built by SLM was put into service by SBB in April 1912 and decommissioned in December 1965. From 1966 to 1974 it was set up as a memorial at Baden station and was remobilized in Glarus in 1976. In 2012, it was awakened from its slumber and transferred to Brugg. This will be a sister engine to # 5819 of SBB Historic.
