Remarks & Notes |
Heavy articulated railcar with baggage and mail compartment FZe 6/6 # 2002 of the Blonay-Chamby Railroad Museum (BC) with train 27 from Blonay to Chamby near the Cornaux stop. This sixaxle 810 kW railcar was built by SIG and BBC in 1933 for the Montreux-Oberland-Bernois (MOB), to pull the "Golden Mountain Pullman Express" between Montreux and Zweisimmen and vice versa. This train was introduced in may 1931, but cancelled already in the autumn of the same year because of the world economy crisis and lack of passengers. So in fact this railcar never pulled the timetabled Pullman Express, but there were made some publicity photos in the 1930' with this composition. |
