Remarks & Notes |
A westbound BNSF train crosses Lake Ashtabula as what has to be the largest garter snake I've ever seen gets some sun on a large chunk of granite nearby. I did a cursory search for "snake" on railpictures and it showed me lots of pictures of trains snaking through landscapes and trains along the Snake River, but none with both a train and a real snake in the same frame. So I don't know if there's much overlap between herpetologists and railfans, but if you've been longing to see a picture that includes a train and a snake, your wait is over. |
