Rolling toward Los Angeles is a Union Pacific train comprised of open hoppers carrying gravel, led by ES44ACs 5452 and 5408 (with 5444 and 5376 on the rear). The train has just exited the Antelope Valley (which, if it ever had any antelope, was before those of European descent arrived in this area) and it is entering Soledad Canyon.
