| NA JUNCTION CO (September) 1978 — A westbound Missouri Pacific train, with GP38-2 2023 in the lead, is a few miles east of NA Junction where it joins Santa Fe tracks in southeastern Colorado. EMD built the unit (b/n 7344-15) in January 1973 and delivered it as MP 872. After the merger with Union Pacific it became UP 2349. On October 12 1990 it was renumbered to UP 1809.
