| The Empress - CP 2816 - gets to call it a day and spend the night in Thief River Falls. Tomorrow is a relatively short run up to Winnipeg along the route of the Soo Line's Winnipeger which last ran on March 23, 1967. 2816's visit drew a lot of attention and enthusiasm. Folks from far and wide make the trek to this northwestern Minnesota outpost to see her. |
