After catching this train once before, that was running right in front of the Big Boy. I planned my next shot to try and catch both trains again. In my opinion this was a pretty darn cool train also. So here is my little rant. As I pulled up to the crossing at East Elko. Which is packed with people waiting for the Big Boy. Most of them didn't even bother to photograph, or even get out of the car for this one. As I got my shot and was heading back to the truck to get the Big Boy just a little bit back up the rode. I had a guy basically inform me this wasn't the Big Boy, that it was coming next. I know he was being nice. And I'm a nerdy obsessed railfan. But after I had been chasing the Big Boy all day long, with my train hat, and train shirt on. With my big scanner antenna on my truck. It's kind of hard to just smile and say thank you for that information. Don't get me wrong, I was totally nice to the guy, just saying. Things that make me smile to myself.
