BNSF Railway Unit Train U-WGNKRF0-04 makes a stop for a crew change in McCook, the point at which the Railway's Akron Sub changes to the Hastings Sub. BNSF ES44AC 5850 and Norfolk Southern AC44C6M 4579 lead this train of petroleum crude oil tank cars, with BNSF SD70ACe 8419 on the rear. Wellington, Utah – on the Union Pacific – was this train's origination point, and it is heading to Korf, Texas. (Korf is, apparently, a point on the BNSF near Beaumont TX.) It is a mystery as to why this train is crossing the state of Nebraska (east of Utah), traveling via Lincoln and Kansas City, rather than via La Junta and Amarillo then to Wichita Falls and Fort Worth, then on to the Beaumont area, very near the Gulf of Mexico.
