Metro Trio. On the night of July 19, 2013, a three-pack of MTA Metro-North Railroad locomotives sits in the Marble Hill, New York, New York station at night. The pair of GP35r MNCW 103 and 101 display the "Metro-North Commuter Railroad" paint scheme that they received after their first rebuild and BL14CG 401 includes all of the various logos and stripes applied by Brookville that are not included in its most recent repaint. The power was there supporting the cleanup of a CSX derailment that occurred earlier that morning.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
