| The JiTong line in China´s Inner Mongolia province, famous for its last QJ steam locomotives used in regular services, has already undergone a huge transformation from a local, single tracked railway to a partly double track major railway with an electrification on the way. The famous Jingpeng pass will be replaced by a new section that will be drilled through the mountains on the most straight way towards Jingpeng station.
On this photo, DF8B class diesel locomotives 5674 + 5920 + 5903 lift a heavy freight train from Reshui to the summit.
