Constitution Liner Cab Car.
Naugatuck Railroad SPV-2000 no. 1001 brings up the rear of a Railroad Museum of New England excursion train bound for Torrington, seen passing a disused siding in Litchfield, CT. Though originally self-propelled, these cars proved to be mechanically unreliable and most were depowered and converted into conventional coaches. Eleven were used for Shore Line East service in Connecticut prior to the purchase of the current Mafersa cars, and were dubbed "Constitution Liners" as they served the Constitution State.
