"PC Meeting on the Coal Bridge"
On June 12th, 2024, Metro-North ran an Inspection Train to New Haven, Connecticut, giving members of management and government the opportunity to view several ongoing and completed projects along the New Haven Line. The train consisted of the LaserTrain Comet III cab car (MNCW 5010) and three Inspection/OCS cars, led by the railroad's 40th Anniversary "Penn Central" heritage-wrapped P32AC-DM, MNCW 217.
In this image, the train is seen passing by the old, but still in service, Wheel Mill as it travels up the "Coal Bridge" in New Haven Yard. The Wheel Mill still features original Penn Central signage.
