Railfan Day On The Cape, 2024. The 3rd Annual Mass Coastal/Cape Cod Railroad "Railfan Day" event on Saturday August 17, 2024. There were several "first time" displays including MC FL-9s 2011 ad 2026 back-to-back (in between coach train trips), the pair of former Bay Colony geeps, also back-to-back, and MBTA/MBTA recently overhauled GP40MC 1129, repainted in the "cranberry" paint scheme. There were a number of cabooses on display, including MC MCCX 10, which was just repainted into the railroad's corporate scheme.
