Safe On The Sidewalk. On the afternoon of August 20, 2017, Amtrak Train 768 (AMTK 463, F59PHI, EMD leading) was being paced by MTS 4038 (Siemens, S70) as it arrived at the Santa Fe Depot Amtrak Station in San Diego, California. The pair are seen at CP Ash on West Ash Street while being safely observed from the sidewalk. While the F59PHI fleet has since been sold to METRA in Chicago, the S70s are a mainstay of the MTS fleet.
