Remarks & Notes |
Loaded heavy fuel oil train 69692 of SBB Cargo International from Oberwinterthur via Winterthur-Bülach-Koblenz to Basel shunting yard E, between Oberwinterthur and Winterthur in the Schwalmenacker service station. Pulling are Siemens "Vectron" 193 # 521 of the SüdLeasing and # 464 of the LokRoll, both rented by SBB Cargo International. The train had started the day before in Cornaux (Cressier refinery) and was supposed to go to Germany (Hamburg Harburg) via the St. Margrethen border crossing due to the closure of the Rhine Valley railroad near Rastatt. This was not possible and the train was parked in Winterthur goods station on track 104. A new solution had to be found, which was not easy. Eventually the train ran from Winterthur goods station to Oberwinterthur for the change of direction (locomotives going around) and then via Bülach to Basel, probably continuing via Alsace and Lauterburg.
