| What Does This Have To Do With The Railroad? A new section of the MTA Metro-North Park Avenue Viaduct awaits its evening slot to cross the George Washington Bridge earlier this month. This ongoing several year project will keep the structure in a state of good repair by replacing it in sections, and the work is being done at off-peak hours to minimize the interference with service. Oversize loads are brought across the GWB at night during a time when the Upper Level is shut down just for this purpose. |
