| A few days before the reopening of the second tunnel tube of the Gotthard Base Tunnel on September 2, 2024, which had been closed since the derailment in August 2023, two coupled "Giruno" highspeed trains RABe 501 # 013 "Zug" and # 026 "Basel Stadt" of the SBB in multiple control are running over the Gotthard mountain line between Amsteg-Silenen and Gurtnellen, as IC 869 of the line IC2 from Zürich to Lugano. On the right the 2986 meter high Chli Windgällen mountain. |
