A 1911 H.K. Porter lettered as Lukens Steel Company No. 10 sits silently, contrasting against Keystone Service Train 645 as it passes on the Ex. Pennsylvania Railroad mainline. According to steamlocomotive.com, this narrow gauge locomotive originally worked for Florida Paint & Turpentine. It was brought in to represent Porter locomotives that worked at Lukens Steel in Coatesville, such as the two ordered by the company in 1902. Interestingly, Lukens also had a fleet of narrow gauge Heisler locomotives. A Heisler advertisement claims that these saw good use on heavy grades at the Coatesville site.
