Remarks & Notes
Arcade & Attica's classic GE center cab crosses the Cataraugus Creek on it's way out of Arcade, NY. This was taken as part of a photo charter held to honor the center cabs on the eve of their demotion from full-time freight handling. The A&A, long the land of center-cabs, finally acquiesced and purchased their first road switcher, an ex-D&H RS-3u, to replace doubleheading the little GEs on revenue freight.
