Roughly ten miles to the east, BNSF Railway Guaranteed Service Intermodal train Q-ATGLAC6-29A received a new crew and started heading west again from Atlanta GA to Los Angeles CA. But eight miles later, the train hit a red block, and after a brief stop began moving again, passing through Fullerton Junction and crossing from Main 2 to Main 1. But as it passed the Fullerton Transportation Center, adjacent to Fullerton Junction, the train began to slow again in preparation for yet another stop in Buena Park. Perhaps being 39 hours 44 minutes behind schedule wasn't late enough for the BNSF! This train has two Norfolk Southern AC44C6Ms up front (NS 4541 and 4786), along with BNSF ES44C4 8210 and Montana Rail Link SD70ACe 4319 (now part of BNSF as of January 1st, and the former BHP – an Australian mining company – 4309 "Gidgi"). As of January 1, 2024, Montana Rail Link became a part of the BNSF Railway. (Fullerton, California – September 3, 2024)
