| This Thursday afternoon was very busy at Long Bridge with CSX, Amtrak, and VRE traffic. This location is just South of the bridge that spans the Potomac River between the District of Columbia and Virginia. The railroad refers to it as "RO" for Roslyn Operator a throwback to the RF&P days when there was a manned tower here. Cumberland, Maryland to Rocky Mount North Carolina manifest train M415 is seen passing a stopped inbound VRE commuter train. |
