With the deletion of the cab signal utilization of the CSX RF&P Subdivision, older power has been more common on these rails between Washington DC, and Richmond, VA. SD70 MAC rebuilds have been common power on this stretch of railroad and we caught quite a few leading on our four-day visit. Manifest train M421 (Buffalo, NY to Rocky Mount, NC is seen passing through Doswell and about to cross the diamond over the Buckingham Branch. We were quite happy with the lashup of an SD70 MAC and a YN2 GE.
