The "Whisky Train" is on the way from Rapperswil to Interlaken Ost, near Bollodingen between Herzogenbuchsee and Riedtwil. Ae 6/6 # 11407 "Aargau" of SBB Historic, on long term loan to association Mikado 1244 in Brugg AG, pulls three former SBB passenger cars of the Railvetica, based in Rapperswil. The journey was from Rapperswil via Pfäffikon SZ-Zürich Altstetten-Lenzburg-Olten-Burgdorf-Konolfingen-Thun-Spiez to Interlaken Ost, to visit the Rugenbräu which produces the "Swiss Mountain Single Malt Whisky" .
