In a long-standing railroad tradition, older locomotives often make their last stand relegated to helper service, although nowadays they're simply known as "Distributed Power." Here, an EMD SD70MAC and a GE C44-9W are still racking up the miles as they shove a stack train across the BNSF's large bridge between Luverne and Karnak, North Dakota.
