Preserved New York Central.
On Sunday, September 29, 2024, the United Railroad Historical Society of NJ hosted their annual "Railroad Museum [for a Day]" event at their Boonton, NJ facility.
One of my favorite pieces of equipment to see at these events is New York Central E8 locomotive 4083 in its unique "Century Green" paint scheme; one of three locomotives (two E8As and one E7B) to receive this paint scheme and the only one remaining. The locomotive is seen here next to Pullman car Hickory Creek, also of New York Central heritage.
