| On the last day of the 2024 season, the 0-8-0 T fourcylinder compound cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 4/4 # 704 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke, built 1923 by SLM Winterthur, pulls the train 133 from Realp to Oberwald over the steady grade of 11.0 % between Tiefenbach and Furka DFB. The regulator is fully open fixed. Boiler pressure is at 13.2 bar, valve box pressure gear drive at 5.2 bar, valve box pressure adhesion at 14.4 bar. Stoker Jonas (left) is throwing another shovel of coal into the firebox. Engine driver Nicolas opens and closes the firebox door with his left hand. In the foreground right is assistant Antoine.
