Mid-days on the busy Metro-North Railroad are when things settle down to a dull roar when compared to rush hour. Passenger loadings are lighter, and trains operate with less frequency - although still frequent enough to make for decent traffic. Train 1555 heads from New Haven to Grand Central Terminal (in New York City) on a cool and overcast January 28, 2019. The train is accelerating out of the East Norwalk station, where it loaded fewer than ten passengers. This train and any passengers riding to the end will be in downtown Manhattan in about an hour - and a world away from the suburbs of Connecticut! (Norwalk, Connecticut – January 28, 2019)
