It's the Illinois Railway Museum's annual Diesel Days event, and on this Saturday the mainline trains were running primarily with hood units. Here, Minnesota Transfer 200 reverses from the south end of the museum and crosses an incomplete diamond while on a Take the Throttle session. Supposedly, the track I'm standing on will eventually be extended to the east and be used for future operations, time / funding permitting.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
