In honor of VRS's 60th anniversary, Trains Magazine hosted a 2-day charter that used Green Mountain Railroad RS-1 #405, put back in it's original Rutland lettering, to run from Rutland to Bellows Falls on Saturday and Rutland to Burlington on Sunday. One of the photo stops involved posing the #405 next to the Bartonsville Covered Bridge for a static shoot. While there was a bridge here all the way back in 1870, it was destroyed by flooding in 2011 and an exact replica was built the year after, making it significantly newer than the 73 year old RS-1.
