The former french railway SNCF fourcylinder compound express train steamlocomotive 241 A # 65 of the association Dampflok-Depot Full (DDF) pulls TR TransRail train 31746 from Huttwil via Langenthal-Olten-Brugg-Regensdorf-Bülach-Eglisau to Koblenz, between Rohrbach and Kleindietwil anlong the Langeten river. The impressive 4-8-2 locomotive was built by Fives/Lille/France in 1931 as 241-001 for the ETAT. At the end of the train is the electric locomotive Be 4/4 # 102 of the Verein Historische Eisenbahn Emmental (VHE), on loan from the BLS Stiftung. This was because the steam locomotive's air pump was not working properly, which also delayed the train by around 80 minutes. The Be 4/4 # 102, built by SLM and SAAS for the Emmental Railway in 1932, is practically the same age as the steam locomotive.
