“Fall Festival Express” After running around its train east of Marshyhope Creek, MDDE 1203 leads the Fall Festival Express past the historic Federalsburg station (and Maryland & Delaware Railroad headquarters) on the way back to Hurlock during the Hurlock Fall Fest on October 5, 2024.
The re-engined Maryland & Delaware Alco is ex-DCLR 1203, exx-CR 9942 (RS3m), exxx-CR 5268 (RS3), exxxx-EL 1052, née-DLW 914. The two former Norfolk & Western coaches, 1730 and 1721, are owned by the town of Hurlock.
