| "Schalke" diesellocomotive Gmf 234 # 02 of the Rhaetian Railway is pulling the service train 9942 from Bergün to Landquart over the 65 meter high Landwasser viaduct between Filisur and Alvaneu. The train circulated for driver training. A wind measuring system powered by solar cells can be seen on the catenary mast to the left of the locomotive. In the event of extreme storms or gusts, rail operations could be suspended. |
